IGNACE, ON – October 1, 2026 – The Township of Ignace is pleased to announce the signing of a Purchase and Sale development agreement with Bruno’s Contracting of Thunder Bay for future housing construction in the Mayotte Terrace Subdivision in Ignace. The agreements officially close this coming week.
A growing demand and upcoming activities, developments and construction around the Nuclear Waste Management Organization’s (NWMO) Centre of Expertise and the Deep Geological Repository Projects have spurred the Township to sign its first ever agreements for the sale and development of a housing sub-division.
