Township of Ignace Official Plan and Zoning By-Law Review 2018-2019

The Township of Ignace is undertaking the legislated five-year review of its Official Plan as required by the Planning Act. The Township’s current Official Plan was approved by the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing in 2010. The Official Plan Review will update and refine the goals, objectives, policies, and schedules of the Official Plan to ensure that it is consistent with the 2014 Provincial Policy Statement, and reflects matters of local interest.

TAKE NOTICE that the Township of Ignace invites all interested persons to attend a Special Meeting of Council on Wednesday 10th April, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Ignace Silver Tops Centre, for the purpose of discussing the revisions that may be required as part of a proposed update to the Township’s Official Plan, as documented in the Background Report (see link below for review), pursuant to the requirements of 26 (3) of the Planning Act, RSO 1990, as amended.
