Restricted Fire Zone

Due to high to extreme fire hazard and increased forest fire activity, as well as the current fire load and the associated commitment of resources to active fires, a Restricted Fire Zone (RFZ) Order is required for the Northwest Fire Region. This RFZ will be effective as of Thursday June 1st at 00:01 and will be in effect until such time the order is revoked. 

The order is required to reduce the number of human-caused wildland fires. We are expecting the current fire hazard to be maintained and expect a continued occurrence of forest fires into the foreseeable future. This action is required to ensure the continued safety of the public and first responders. 

Portable propane or gas stoves are permitted but should be used with caution. 

If you see a fire, or someone not adhering to the conditions of the RFZ, please report it to 310-FIRE (3473).
